What Goes Around Comes Around

RAGM Pres. 2019 - 2020 Nick Frankle
This is the time of year when we reflect on the events of 2019 and look forward to 2020. As Rotarians, we have much to be thankful for. We have been given the opportunity to make a difference in our community and in communities around the world. We have touched the lives of people we will never know but who will know us by our actions.
For many of us associated with the Rotarian Action Group for Microfinance and Community Development (RAGM), we make a difference by improving community economies and providing opportunities to those who previously had none. Not only do these activities change lives economically, increasing economic opportunity for all removes a key inhibitor to peace.
Often our Rotary projects that improve community economic development involve many people supported by funding that enables us to reach out to an entire community. However, as we all know, we change a community one life at a time.
One of my District Governor classmates reminded me that the best way for us to give thanks is by giving others a reason to be thankful. Take a moment this holiday season as we look forward to a new year to give someone you do not know a reason to be thankful. It will change both of your lives.
I want to thank each of you for the difference that you have made in our global communities. I look forward to working with you in the new year to continue our efforts to improve community economic opportunities.
My you and your families enjoy a Happy Holiday Season and a new year full of health, happiness and peace.
