Thanks to the video folks at Rotary International and guest appearances by knowledgeable spokespersons like PDG Brad Howard, we have a powerful summary of what it takes to engage a community in their own self help. When the community is sufficiently engaged sponsorships are easier to find and sustainable development is more likely to occur. In the video Brad Howard offers the following quote.

"Right now corporations are looking for humanitarian causes and if our organization is in a position to be able to respond to that to show that we have the expertise, transparency and the ability to mobilize both locally and globally we can draw in a lot more resources and partners."
