Andrew & Tracy Bitcon
In 2005, the Bitcons founded Bubbles Car Wash as a social, for-profit enterprise. Bubble's mandate is to "provide employment, mentoring, advocacy and funds for vulnerable members of our community."

Andrew & Tracy Bitcon are not two-bit operators when it comes to developing a social business. Such businesses are financially profitable and operate under a mandate of being socially redeeming. After a successful career in the Oil & Gas sector the Bitcons turned their attention to giving back to the community. From their website Upscale car wash and detailer chooses green power we see the following description of some of their Calgary, Alberta service work and information on one of their several awards.

Locally owned and operated, Bubbles Car Washes are full service, upscale car washes and detail centres. Bubbles Car Wash Calgary has been providing its customers with a comfortable alternative to washing their own cars since spring of 2006. Established as a Social Enterprise, the company provides employment and mentoring to deserving members of the community and was the recipient of the 2008 Youth Employer Award of Distinction.

More recently, the Bitcons who are stationed in Calgary where Andrew is a member of the Calgary West Rotary Club, have been recognized again as one of several Honourees in the National Philanthropy Day 2012 Philanthropist Awards - Bubbles Car Wash, Outstanding Small Business Philanthropist

ASSOCIATION OF FUNDRAISING PROFESSIONALS - CALGARY & AREA CHAPTER

The purpose of life is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

These are words that Andrew and Tracey Biton strive to live by.
