The Global Enrichment Foundation
DHOOBLEY, SOMALIA — Thanks to generous help from you, the Global Enrichment Foundation brought a convoy of food into Somalia with enough to feed 14,000 people in one of the regions worst affected by the famine.

On the morning of August 4, 2011, the food aid trucks rolled across the border into devastated Somalia. The food was received by families making the journey to the refugee camps in Kenya. Each family received food for two weeks--enough to make it to the camps.

This convoy was a huge success, but we cannot stop now. Millions of Somalis are still at risk for starvation. This famine has taken a massive toll on East Africa, and only now is food aid starting to trickle in.

We are now planning a second Convoy for Hope in late August. If you can spare $5, $10 or $100, please Donate now, it could mean the difference between life and death for a Somali family.

Time is running out to save tens of thousands of lives. Your help at this juncture is critical.

If you cannot afford to donate, you can still do your part by forwarding this email to 10 friends, or posting a link to our donate page on your Facebook or Twitter.
Every small action can have a huge impact.
